About Rocketcar Cup

Rocketcar Cup replaces footballers with rocket-powered cars. You drive around a 2D arena, challenge for the ball and try to send it into the opposing goal. Boost and the Hard Hit action add options, but the position of your car still determines which way the ball can go.

Get behind the ball

A clean approach is easier to control than an impact from an awkward angle. Before committing to a hit, look at the ball, your car and the goal. When defending, try to reach a position that lets you move the ball away from your own goal.

Learn boost separately

Practise steering without boost first, then add it to a movement you can already repeat. The supplied controls include a virtual joystick and on-screen action buttons, plus keyboard driving, Shift for boost and Q for a Hard Hit. Check the match menu for the available play options.
