Serpento reimagines the classic snake game by adding a unique exit challenge to each level. Your goal is to consume every apple on the board. However, the true test begins after the last apple is eaten, as you must then carefully maneuver your entire snake out through a newly opened door to complete the stage.

In Serpento, you control a snake that grows longer with each apple consumed. The initial phase of each of the 24 stages involves strategically moving across the board to eat all available fruit. Be mindful of your increasing length, as collisions with walls or your own tail will end your run, requiring a restart.

The real puzzle unfolds once all apples are gone and an exit door appears. You must then skillfully navigate your entire snake, including its tail, through this opening. Levels progress from open fields to intricate, two-tile wide mazes featuring teleporter pits and evasive frogs, demanding precise movement and forward planning.
