About Paint or Seek: Chameleon Hide Online

Paint or Seek: Chameleon Hide Online is hide-and-seek built around camouflage. As a Hider, paint your character to match a nearby wall, object or pattern, choose a hiding place and avoid discovery until the timer ends. As a Seeker, search the map and find the hidden players before they survive the round.

Match the surroundings, then choose the position

A suitable colour helps, but placement still matters. Look at the shapes and patterns around the spot you choose, then consider how the character might stand out when another player approaches from a different direction.

Search for small mismatches

When seeking, examine areas where a colour or outline interrupts the surroundings. Cover the map deliberately rather than checking the same place repeatedly. The game displays controls in the bottom-left corner; use that panel for its painting, climbing, camera and interaction actions.

How to play Paint or Seek: Chameleon Hide Online

Start by choosing your role: Hider or Seeker. If you're a Hider, immediately enter paint mode using 'P' to customize your character's colors and patterns to match your surroundings. Find a clever spot, perhaps near a wall where you can use 'V' to climb, and stay still. As a Seeker, your mission is to explore the map thoroughly. Look for any unusual shapes or colors that don't quite fit. Use 'Q' or 'E' to change weapons and interact with 'F' if needed to uncover hidden players before the timer runs out.
