About HEROES BEWARE

HEROES BEWARE puts you on the defending side of a monster lair. Knights, archers and mages approach your crystal while you hatch eggs, merge identical monsters and arrange the resulting defenders on a rune grid. Stronger creatures help, but their location is just as important.

Keep attackers on the outer track

Only monsters stationed on the outer track can fire. That rule makes it important to check the board after a merge or swap: a powerful monster in the wrong place will not protect the road. Use the inspect action to see a creature’s stats before deciding where it belongs.

Balance merging with placement

Matching monsters evolve into stronger tiers. Neighbouring elements can also create synergy bonds, so look at the surrounding cells before reorganising the grid. The game’s progression includes multiple elemental classes and evolution tiers; the immediate aim is to keep a working defense as the next wave arrives.

How to play HEROES BEWARE

Begin by pressing 'E' or 'Space' to hatch monster eggs and place them on the rune grid. To evolve monsters, drag two identical creatures together. Remember that only monsters stationed on the outer track can engage enemies, so position your strongest defenders there. Use 'A' for auto-merge to streamline your evolution process. Left-click any monster to inspect its stats and plan your next strategic move against the incoming hero waves.
