Join a match and you will be placed on a team. Drive your car and use your boost to hit the giant soccer ball. Coordinate with your teammates to get the ball into the opponent’s net. Use your jump and boost to perform aerial hits. The team with the most goals when time runs out wins.
Do not have every player on your team chase the ball at once. This is called ‘ball chasing’. Try to rotate positions; if a teammate is attacking, stay back a bit to be ready for a pass or to defend. A well-timed demolition of an enemy goalie can open up an easy scoring opportunity. Feather your boost in the air for better control instead of holding it down.
Use WASD to drive. Use Left Shift for boost, Space Bar to jump. F is used to focus the camera on the ball.
It is easy to learn the basics of driving and hitting the ball. However, the skill ceiling is extremely high. Learning to perform aerials, dribble the ball, and play strategically as a team takes hundreds of hours of practice.
Demolition mode is a separate game type that plays like a demolition derby. The goal is not to score goals, but to be the last car standing by ramming and destroying all of your opponents in the arena.
The game features an extensive garage. You can use currency earned from playing to buy and equip different car bodies, wheels, decals, antennas, and rocket boost trails, allowing for thousands of unique combinations.
